Rae made his most appearances at Millwall, Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Rae quickly became a key player at Wolverhampton, winning Fans’ Player of the Season award. In 2002, he helped Wolverhampton back into the Premier League. Afterward, he returned to Rangers in Scotland and won the league title in his first season.
