Petrov is a fans favourite at Celtic, following his seven seasons in Scotland, during which time he played 228 games for Celtic, and scored 55 goals. Petrov moved south in 2006 and played in the Premier League for Aston Villa until 2013. The Bulgarian international played for his country over 100 times, captaining the team at Euro 2004.
