Gabbidon started his career as a trainee at West Brom before moving to his local club, Cardiff City. he made over 200 appearances for the Welsh club between 200 and 2005, before joining West Ham. Gabbidon played over 100 games for the Hammers, before then enjoying short spells at both QPR and Crystal Palace. The Welsh international played 49 times for his country.
