Darren Ambrose started his career at Ipswich, before moving to Newcastle in 2003 for £1 million. In 2005, he moved to Charlton, where he played over 125 games for the South London club. In 2009, he moved across London to Crystal Palace, where he played 126 games, scoring 39 goals. The midfielder made over 400 career appearances in the Premier League and Championship.
