Faye White played almost her entire club career at Arsenal ladies, making her debut in 1996 and going on to make over 300 appearances for the club.

She was one of the first female players to be given a central contract by The Football Association, and went on to play 90 times for her country. She played at Euro 2001 and the World Cup in 2003, and captained the Lionesses at Euro 2005, World Cup 2007, Euro 2009 and World Cup 2011.

In recognition of all of her achievements in the game, she was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
