As a goalkeeper, Digby spent much of his career at Swindon Town, but also spent time at Crystal Palace and QPR. Digby joined Swindon Town in 1986 and remained there until 1998. He played in the 1993 play-off final against Leicester City, which they won, therefore securing a spot in the Premier League. He represented his club during their season at the top level.
