Ian Harte is best remembered for his time at Leeds United, where he was part of the team that reached the semi finals of the Champions League for two seasons in a row. Playing as a leftback, Harte was an excellent free-kick taker, and was selected in the PFA Team of the Year in 1999-2000. Harte enjoyed spells at a number of Football League clubs, as well as earning 63 caps for the Republic of Ireland.
