As a youngster, Greening was part of the Manchester United squad that won the Champions League and FA Cup in 1999. After moving to Middlesbrough in 2001, Greening won the League Cup in 2004, before moving to West Brom, where he was part of the squad who performed the 'Great Escape' in 2005. He later went on to captain the club, playing 196 times for West Brom, before enjoying spells at Fulham and Nottingham Forest.
