Lisbie made his professional debut for Charlton Athletic in the 1996-97 season. Possibly his best moment in a Charlton shirt was a hat-trick scored against Liverpool in a 3-2 win. He was a regular for Charlton until injury severely restricted his playing time. He finished his Charlton Athletic spell with 155 appearances and sixteen goals.
