Boa Morte received his first big break when he joined Premier League side, Arsenal, in 1997. He was a regular squad member for the Gunners during the 1998-99 season. However, the majority of the Portuguese international's appearances in England came for Fulham and West Ham. Boa Morte’s crowing moment for Fulham came when he scored the only goal in the 1-0 win over Chelsea in the West London derby in 2006.
