Taylor is a goalkeeper most known for his time at Fulham and Birmingham City. Taylor proved to be a good signing for Fulham helping them to the Second Division title in 1999. The First Division followed in 2001, securing Fulham promotion to the Premier League. Taylor continued his impressive form at Birmingham City and was nominated for the Premiership team of the 2003-04 season and voted fans’ goalkeeper of the season in Birmingham City’s 2003-04 campaign.
