Forster made most of his appearances with Brentford, Reading, and Brighton & Albion. At Reading, Forster receives part of the credit for salvaging Reading’s 1999-2000 season, helping the club out of the relegation zone. Forster notched eighteen goals in the 2002-03 season to help promote Reading to Division One. During his time at Brighton & Albion, Forster was appointed club captain and won the League Player of the Month in September 2009.
