Parlour played from 1992 to 2007. Parlour is most famous for his time at Arsenal, where he played for fourteen years. Parlour fully developed as a player after the arrival of Arsene Wenger in 1996. He became a regular starter on the right-wing and central midfield. In 1997-98, Arsenal won the Double and Parlour proved instrumental. He enjoyed many years of success before leaving Arsenal for Middlesborough and eventually finishing his career at Hull City.
