Campbell successfully captained Tottenham Hotspur to a League Cup final win over Leicester City in the 1998-99 season, but due to injuries missed the following season. Upon returning his contract expired and Campbell joined Arsenal. Campbell enjoyed immediate success with the Gunners, as they won both Premier League and the FA cup. In the FA Cup final, Campbell helped the team keep a clean sheet in the 2-0 victory over Chelsea. Campbell was part of the “invincibles,” going undefeated in the 2003-04 season.
